Yeah, so, Amazon says that I purchased this backpack back in January, 2009. I still use it everyday. It has held up this entire time. None of the straps have fallen apart or loosened, all of the stitching is strong just as it was out of the box. This bag is very well made. The only thing that did happen to it a few years ago was one of the main compartment zippers came off the track, but the other one works fine, so I just zipped the broken zipper all the way to the open position on the left side and then use the other zipper to close/open it--works fine.The laptop sleeve is superb! I have a 15" Macbook Pro with a speck slim case, and it fits in and out perfectly. Some sleeves are too tight and it's really hard to get your laptop in and out, but this one works great.The main compartment is fantastic, it has a lot of room and you can hold a lot of crap in there. I generally use this bag to carry my laptop and some random stuff in the front pouch. Sometimes when I go out-of-town I'll use the main compartment to pack some clothes, and I can put 2-3 pair of jeans, 3-4 shirts, socks/underwear, etc and the bag can hold it all easily.I was just curious to see if this was still for sale, searched for Swiss Gear backpacks and it's still here. I'm about to pick up a second one, since I love my first one so much and I've gotten such great life out of the bag, 7 years old and still going strong. I've used this bag every day since I purchased it. So, I can vouch for it's durability, this bag is really well made and the price is great!Really comfortable, durable bag with a lot of room to hold plenty of stuff. Highly recommended!
