I've had this backpack for about 7 months now. I ended up returning the one I got from Amazon because it was very clearly heavily used and COVERED in dog hair. The actual pack itself is extremely high quality, really handsome, and feels just overall nice. I know people with similarly styled packs that are half or a third the price, and it's immediately clear just by looking how much lower quality they are. I fully expect this pack to last me the next 10 years. It is the perfect size for a 13" laptop. A 15" laptop does not fit inside it (you can kinda shimmie-it in, but it just doesn't really work well).I do have two complaints about this pack though. First and foremost, the side pockets are WAY too small. Instead of having a few inches of extra fabric on the part that's sewn onto the side to create a sort of bulge on the outside, they are the same length as the backpack itself, which means anything you put in them has to push partially INSIDE the pack to fit (imagine putting two pieces of paper together, and pushing the sides in, so they bend in opposite directions to create a circle). You can just barely fit a standard sized water bottle or 20oz soda bottle in them. Anything bigger flat-out will not fit, and god help you if you actually packed the inside of the bag to it's capacity because then NOTHING will fit.My second, and sort of nit-picky complaint, is that the holes on the straps are (in my opinion) punched upside down. Instead of having a large hole on top for the rivet head to fit through, and then a small slit on the bottom that the rivet head gets locked on when trying to pull the bag open, the large hole is on the bottom and the small slit is on the top. This is apparently common practice for these types of bags, but it makes absolutely no sense as it allows the straps to pop out and the bag to open if you over-stuff it. If it were reversed, you would be able to absolutely stuff the hell out of it and still have it securely strapped. Whoever decided this was the standard is either an idiot or has never tried to stuff a backpack to capacity.
