The material feels great. It’s really aesthetically pleasing and sleek. As others have mentioned the straps can be an issue and constantly slip. The shoulder straps itself are not very comfortable but it’s also not crazy unbearable. It’s overall a decent bag but doesn’t feel like it’s worth $200. It feels more like it should be about $50-$75 less. There’s much better alternatives for the price or offer a lot more for slightly a higher price. FYI you also have to pay for return shipping. It was deducted from my return. Also makes me not want to purchase from this company anymore.I really like this backpack. The materials feel high quality and the color is really nice. The main reason I chose it, because it was comfortable when carrying compared to other backpacks I tested. What bothers me a bit, is that the straps are so hard. The pack has a lot of space for a 20l backpack but fits easily under the front seat in aeroplanes and I had 2 laptops 15.4" and 14" ind the laptop compartment. The content i took along was super heavy, but the pack handles that well. What i miss are some loops to attach stuff with carabiners. The biggest feature I miss is that it has no loop at the back for handle pass through, which i would have expected for a backpack with the name transit.I was searching for a replacement work bag/ overnight bag for work trips after my Patagonia brief busted at the seams after 5 years of love and heavy use. I wanted to switch to a backpack to alleviate the shoulder pain, but didn't want to sacrifice the utility/ modular nature of the Patagonia bag. Found this option after a heavy research phase and was sold on the looks and reported durability. It does not disappoint; looks incredibly sharp, well designed to help stay organized, and roomy enough to haul plenty for an overnight or two. 10/10 would buy again.Absolutely love this backpack. There’s always going to be trade offs though. Because of the durable fabric and extra pockets-the shoulder straps are stiffer and it’s a little heavier than other backpacks I own. That being said-I’ve been issued a handful and personally bought more than a dozen backpacks, and this is the best backpack I have ever used for work and travel. The stiff fabric and heavier pockets are worth the little extra weight because of the organization and functionality it provides. I can be a lot more efficient in my travels. I’m currently doing nation wide photography and lidar surveying of bridges. The materials, quality, durability and design of this backpack makes it the perfect daily carry bag. The top pocket is perfect to use with the Bellroy Tech Kit Compact which holds all my cables and chargers. My Macbook Pro M1 fits easily in the laptop section which is top loading. I really like the top loading aspect of a bag. I had tried the Bellroy Classic Backpack 2nd Edition and while it's an excellent bag as well, I prefer the top loading laptop section of the Bellroy Transit Workpack. It also fits more internally. The straps are a little thin but comfortable. I love the Lunar color option. I really dont have any complaints about the bag. I suppose the only negatives I could say is the internal bottle pockets do eat up some of the internal space but it's not terrible and the straps could be a bit more padded but I get that this is really a daily carry backpack and it does that extremely well. I highly recommend it.I initially ordered the larger Transit Backpack (28L) in ink blue, and I loved it but it was just too big for everyday carry. So I tried this Workpack in charcoal, but immediately after pulling it out of the package, it attracted a dozen cat hairs to the front. If you have pets with darker fur or don’t care about lint and hair gathering on your bag, then the charcoal Workpack could be great for you. I ended up returning it because it’s important to me for a bag to be low-maintenance. If Bellroy starts making the Workpack in the ink blue material, I may buy it.I am a Bellroy fan and already own and use the Transit backpack. However that is a bit big for every day for me. The Workpack really is perfect in how it's a bit smaller for everyday carry and plenty of room and organization for all your needs. The material is great and durable, the bottle holders for me are fantastic, they secure my water bottle and don't look obtrusive. Another great bag from Bellroy...If I had any complaint it would be they removed the 2nd inside zipper pocket on the flap inside the main compartment but it's not really a big deal..plenty of other pockets all around.Great design and build quality. I love the color and adore the fact that it can stand on its own without leaning against a wall if you set up the contents correctly. Really attractive backpack.Brilliant bag. Best rucksack I have ever had for keeping a laptop and iPad in.Amazing amount of places to keep things in. Can easily carry a 16” MacBook, 12.9” iPad and all my gym gear. Plus cables, water bottle, spare battery and snacks. Fantastic. The overall layout of the back is well thought out, I like the aesthetics and it does fit more than you think. Only when wearing fully loaded on a long walk, the harness system and the back of the bag do not provide enough support. I started having cramp in my shoulders and pain in the back. For this amount of money that is unacceptable and there are better bags out there. I sent it back.
