I use this case to store my laptop, iPad, wireless keyboard, and my “,hoe phone,”. I stash my phone up in the side pocket when I am home and I’ll use that bad boy while I’m out working. I am a data/telecom technician that spends on average 7 months of the year out on the road.This last time when I came home I forgot to turn the, “hoe,” phone off. One day it went off and my now ex girlfriend found it. Well obviously once she found it she had to go through it and let’s just say she shouldn’t of swiped left.After she was finished looking at the pictures, reading the text, and just being noisy, she proceeded to toss my stuff outside. I live on the third floor of an apartment complex. Wait. I use to live on the third floor of an apartment complex.Once she grasped her busy little fingers around this bag and launched it over the balcony I figured I was out at least 1,400 in electronics and I lost all my, “friends,” numbers who I met while abroad.Needless to say that when I gathered up my infidelities and got a hotel I went through my bag and eto my suprise nothing was brokenWell done Tough Built. Well. Done.I really like the bag overall, but the spring clasps on the shoulder strap are unreliable as is. The shoulder strap will occasionally disconnect randomly while walking and carrying the weight. I was able to MacGiver a solution, but It's something to be aware of.Lot of storageGOOD STUFFI purchased the medium version about a year ago at the time of this review. it is a heavy bag comparatively but it is just about indestructible.Pros: 1) lots of space in the center, back and front compartments. (can hold 3 dell 3541 easily with ac adapters) 2) Very heavy abrasion resistant nylon. It has survived riding on the floor of a van, with pallets, bed of a pickup etc. there is minimal scuff-marks on it. 3) The black is a true black not a blueish black and the color has not faded in the time I have been using it 4) The corners are steel wire reinforced with rubber rub guards. 5) The strap is very strong and fairly comfortable for a OEM strap.cons: 1. The large front and rear compartments do not always stay velcro'd shut. i would prefer if these compartments where able to be zippered shut but this is not a big gripe considering those with a CC permit can use compartments to carry and use a decent pocket or shoulder protector quickly. 2. Of course the bag is heavy but when it is this rugged one can not really complain about the weight.For reference I am a consultant for a IT firm in the SE US. I have used this bag in all weather conditions (except hurricane) and the flaps have stayed secure and the contents have stayed dry.To dry the bag if it gets wet leave it in a warm room or in the sun for a day or two with a fan on it if you use your dryer the plastic pieces in the drum may will not survive.I have used this to haul laptops, diagnostic equipment, books, drives, etc. and it has not let me down. The only complaints I have are: the large pockets can not be zippered when carrying loose items. And the weight when you have to walk across a campus with a full bag.I am using this as a pilot flight bag on a B-737. Fits will between the seat and sidewall and holds everything I need to carry with room to spare. Fits under passenger seat as well when I'm riding in the back. Would be nice if the handle was a little shorter as it would make it easier to tote on the J hook on my roller bag. I've only used it on one trip so far, will update after several with a more detailed review and pictures.This bag works great for two DJ sized laptops and two tablets. Very well protected inside with plenty of pockets for your peripherals. Backup hard drive, cables and power warts. I got the larger one but I felt like the smaller one would have worked better. Still happy with the product.First off, I received no compensation for this review in any way, I just really like this thing. My review is for the medium bag.I’ve been using this nearly every day for over two months, if my opinion changes I’ll add an update. The materials are very durable and it’s well constructed. I use it to carry two 15” laptops, power supplies, an iFixit Manta driver set (specific set is just for size reference) several usb cables, a stream deck, a wireless mouse, a couple of pouches with assorted memory cards and a couple usb SSDs and still have some room. The size is excellent, I considered the large but this has been perfect.I bought this after dropping my samsonite bag and one laptop getting damaged because of the lack of corner reinforcement and overall padding. This thing is basically armored in comparison, the corners are sturdy and there are lots of reinforced corners and seams to prevent impact damage.I have two thoughts for improvement, not even criticismsFirst - the strap twists very easily and the metal adjustment piece slips with small jolts like lifting it up an inch or toe to slide it up your shoulder then letting it dropSecond - the pouch in the top of the main compartment is a little awkward, it’s one long pouch with a divider, and could benefit from a double zipper to access one side or the other rather than opening it all the way.Even the clips for the strap are solid and well made, they are almost a 3/4 circle closure so both sides of the clip are always grabbing the ring, making it very challenging to accidentally bump the clip and disconnect it.All the stitching is doubled up and even the expanding pockets are sturdier than I expected. It does stand up on its own but if you load up the front compartments it may not be able to hold its balance.I love this bag, it’s everything I need and the best laptop case I’ve ever had.This case is absolutely superb. I have to carry a high-end laptop, a Chromebook and various bits of expensive ancillary kit to customer sites, and have in the past struggled to find a suitable sort of bag that fits the bill. Most laptop bags cater for just one laptop and various small things whereas this has masses of room and most importantly is a sensible size to fit into the car (I actually have two of these) without falling over.Also very importantly, both the shoulder strap and carry handle are comfortable in use, and feel robust enough even with a lot of kit in.Wish I’d found these before but glad I have finally managed to accommodate all my kit, and it looks both tidy and professional too when visiting my client sites.I’ve been a big fan of Toughbuilt gear for a few years now, and this product didn’t disappoint! In hindsight I probably didn’t need the large size, but I can now fit all my work pads, brochures, tapes and all site admin in one very sturdy carry case. It’s HUGE! It has a vast array of pockets and sections to keep a lot of gear separate, Well done Toughbuilt!Was looking for a pilot type case to carry everything needed when travelling between construction sites / office, (laptop, notebooks, drawings, IPad etc....) before coming across this beauty! Personally find it perfect for the job, more than enough space in the main compartment as well as plenty of pockets for other Items. I’m in Building Services so would highly recommend for Trades people / Project Managers and so on.I am very please with this product quality, however the front pocket does not engage and I have had to get this replaced. The strap does not stays on the same position and you end up to adjust it all the time.First purchase of Toughbuilt. Looks good quality with strong zips...time will tell. Using for laptop and tools. Plenty of room. Will also fit printer.
