I loved this product for the first 6 months. The screen is small and not very bright, but it gets the job done for those of us that need 2 screens on the go. It is light and easy to transport/use. I was having issues with the magnets sticking so I super glued them to a pop on cover and haven't had an issue since. Now that I am out of the warranty/service window, the cable has stopped working. No matter what I do the screen is just green now. It is a bit pricey to only work for 6 months. Otherwise would give 5 stars and highly recommend. (MacBook Air 2019). The seller reached out and sent me a new cable so we are back in business!Love this, it’s so helpful for my workI don't use very often as the size of the screen is off. I wish I could manage the functions better.The Duex Lite is very easy to install and use, as well as easy to transport. It fits right into my laptop bag so I can use it at home and in the office which is great because it has increased the amount of work I am able to complete in a day. An added bonus is the professional design and appearance of the product.Great idea, loved it for the few days it worked. After pressing the side buttons (adjusting settings) one became stuck and the screen flickered without end.Poor Quality Product, Broke only a few days after use. Replacement Order came and that broke too! Luckily Amazon provided a Refund.Works great but falls off to easyThis monitor has a bit more versatility then other portable monitors. The first thing I will say is that this is lighter but still pretty heavy. Mac screen clamps seem to work okay with this monitor alone so the monitor sags backwards. Unfortunately computers like surface book hinges do not hold this up very well. That being said, the clamp to the monitor is still a little bulky but at at least stays on the monitor pretty well well. There is padding so you do not have to worry about the clamp damaging your monitor. The clamp pressure does not hinder or break your monitor. You could close some monitors with this on while others not so much. It all depends on the model. One annoying thing is that you cannot really use this at any particular angle. It has to be a certain angle to really get the best view of the portable monitor. That being said, you could use this on your lap but leaning forward could cause the weight of the monitor to move back. The controls are okay and the brightness is not too bad. It is not exactly the same as the monitor have as it is little dimmer even at max brightness. That being said, it can take a bit of adjusting to having two different brightness screens. The monitor only has one output unfortunately which is type C. It does not have HDMI or sound on this monitor. The device does come with a type c to type c with a type A adapter. The type a adapter does make it so that you can connect your monitor to computers without type c but you need to install the drivers and also use USB 3.0 at least. USB 2.0 does not seem to work with this at all. You can however stand the monitor up on its own. The problem with that is that the monitor stand is not really something you can adjust. It is just one angle and that is it. The monitor is not touch screen. If you are able to keep the monitor on the clamp with your laptop, it is nice that you can pull the screens out. The one thing you have to be aware of is that when you close it the screen is actually facing up so if you put it in your bag without taking it off it can be scratched.. It does not run hot which is good. Overall this monitor is a good idea but it is a bit too bulky. It is heavy so most ultra book size laptops actually cannot handle the weight but it works fine with mac books for the most part. The clamp is just too heavy for most laptop so you have to keep it at a certain angle. It is nice that you do get a kick stand but you cannot adjust the angle. The monitor is also facing up all the time so it is prone to scratches. Also that if you are using USB A to type c, that you need to install the drivers.
