If you don't see these symbols, check your laptop's manual to see that your USB-C port has display support or if the manual mentions "DP Alt-Mode". If you are unsure of your laptop's compatibility, please let us know your brand/model laptop so that we can help you determine if this product will work for you. To Macbook users: This device is not fully compatible with M1, M2, or M3 chip Macbooks, since this chip is hardware limited to only support a single external display. It will require a specialized USB-C HDMI dock adapter to work with this product. We will not be able to provide support for these model Macbooks or adapters. M2/M3 Pro or M2/M3 Max chip laptops may have dual screen support but have not been tested. PLEASE NOTE: This screen is only designed for laptops that have two compatible USB-C ports or one compatible USB-C port and one HDMI port. Since there are no laptops on the market that have two HDMI ports, we only include 1 HDMI-to-USB-C cable in the kit. We do not recommend this screen for any laptops that do not meet these requirements. If you are having problems, here are a few troubleshooting steps: My screen is not turning on or is flickering Plug in a secondary USB cable for more power (required for HDMI connections)Press & Hold the power toggle buttton to turn it on Check USB-C port to see if it supports display output If using with an OPTIONAL 2x HDMI dock, be advised that this device only includes a single HDMI-to-USB-C cable. You would need to purchase a second one for this purpose (it MUST be an HDMI-to-USB-C cable, NOT USB-C-to-HDMI). These types of cables are UNIDIRECTIONAL.
