I have a Ergotron Neo-Flex Notebook and projector display at work and that works great. This is the same product with only one difference, the Notebook/projector version you can make wider or narrow it whereas this is just a flat platform. For the $30 difference, this was perfect for home. I have a T60p laptop with a docking station for it, this comes with valcro strips you put on the lift stand and on the bottom of the docking station and they are stationary then. I have a separate keyboard, trackball, and large monitor and I just put the laptop on the docking station, power up, and I have instant dual screens. I do web design and development so it works great for coding having the dual screens. No troubles with the lift stand, you can tighten the adjustment screw so the tension is tight enough that the laptop will stay stationary while open and tilted to the same height as my display. Plus under the front legs of the lift stand, there are wheels angled inward so you can pivot the display towards you or away easily.Excellent product and well built.Use this at work to put my laptop on next to my Dell extra Screen and love it. I have it on top of a VARIDESK standing desk and it looks really sleek and is really stable and sturdy when I'm adjusting the desk to stand up or sit down. I have to take my laptop off frequently to take with me to meetings and it's super easy to take on and off and adjust. Has made doing work that much easier and I'm grateful. Plus, no neck strain! When I purchased my newer and sleek 18" laptop, the rounded edges meant it just slipped right off the other stand that I owned. This one moves well and since I use it in conjunction with a monitor - utilizing a dual monitor solution this is the perfect stand. I also switch between my personal laptop and my work issued laptop which are different in size so it has been wonderful since it so quickly adjusts.Never bought a notebook stand before so I was little surprised by the range of options out there. This one seemed appealing because it's adjustable, and it's worked nicely. That's all I've got to say about this.Great device! Love the adjustable lift. I use the little wheels to swivel more than I expected. Very sturdy, well constructed. If you use Skype professionally you need this device as it allows you to look up instead of the low down stare that happens with a laptop on a flat desk surface.Love it. Much more aesthetically pleasing then other laptop products. I stack a small monitor stand under it to raise it a little higher, but it works great.works great for my 14" MAC. Has good height for the screen to match others screens on the desk. This is the laptop stand I buy for everyone in my company. I would recommend it over every other stand I've tried.Product is well constructed and works well for its intended purpose of lifting up a laptop. I use it with a macbook pro 15in. Only actual functional advantage over a pile of books is that it keeps the space underneath more free, and can be adjusted to be flush with a second monitor. It's a bit more expensive than I'd like, considering what it is, but I couldn't see a cheaper alternative with the same features. This is a well built stand - it is not to be compared with £15 cheapo stands that may seem tempting - but may just fall apart. Make sure that the pads are positioned so that they do not block the fans of the laptop that will sit on it. Once on and adjusted, the laptop is sturdily in place. It is worth adding, which I cannot see in the listing, that it has a pad underneath which means the whole unit - perfect if you want to quickly turn it round to share something with a colleague nearby but don't want to take the laptop off the stand.I have had these for a number of years and will buy more for as long as they are stocked.Angle tilts well and raises/lowers with ease. Usual Ergotron quality but would have liked it slightly cheaper (It is, after all at the top end of laptop stands where simple folding plastic suffices in most cases)Worth the expense, well made item,. Wish I bought one years ago to save the stress on my neck .hatte zuerst bedenken, wirkt auf dem foto erstmal nicht so hochwertig, war dann aber auf der homepage des herstellers und konnte mir da einen besseren eindruck verschaffen, der lift stand ist sehr schwer, da metallarm (hochwertig) auflage fläche ausreichend (15" Notebook)lässt sich wunderbar einstellen höhe neigung und steht dank gummipuffern sicherklare kauf empfehlunglg dave
