Does using it while charging affect the sound quality? The shotgun microphone only takes three hours to charge and lasts up to 60 hours (depending on actual use). The sound quality is somewhat affected by the charging cable current. What is the pickup distance of VM20? 2-3 meters, but it mainly depends on the volume of the audio source. Is there anyway to use this mic as a usb mic connected to a laptop? For USB C devices, you need to equip a TRRS to USB C audio adapter cable. For Lightning devices, you need to equip a TRRS to Lightning audio adapter cable. Can this be used as a boom mic? It sure can. You’d just need an extension cable .
